Stopped in late on a Saturday night. Bar was crowded. Crowd was young, enthusiastic, loud and friendly. Regular karaoke crowd. Karaoke is very loud. Bar doesn't accept cash but takes debit and credit cards. There was someone checking IDs at the door. Staff was friendly and very busy but drinks came quickly. All in all a welcoming vibe.

First thing, the bartender insulted me and my date for wearing masks into the bar. We took them off, and he kept acting really strangely aggressive and unwelcoming. Asked if I was closing out after one shot and said, "Yeah, that's a good idea." This was not my first time to Donnell's, and I've had fun in the past, but this time was enough to get me never to come back. Plenty of nice and welcoming places in Vancouver. I don't need to tolerate jerks who are too cool for me.

Sadly to say, my first visit was to celebrate the life of a dear friend 🌷 she was taken away to soon in her young life🙏 I will say this! The ladies there were so amazing🌷 made everything so pleasant. Wonderful job💕 I did return, because I knew that Donnell's was going to be my kind of place. Variety of entertainment, board games at tables, pool table, shuffle board, karaoke, good food, great sitting inside and outside sitting, Wonderful kind people and great ambionce when walking in. Honestly🙏 try it once, you'll go back for more laughter and just a great good 😊 fun time. 💕

This place has the best Karaoke in the Couv, 7 nights a week. They never really close. They have been one of the few bars throughout this pandemic that stays open until 2:00am. If you are a musician you would probably wanna show up on a Thursday for open mic, mixed with KaRaOkE. Its a gender fluid bar, LBGT friendly place, every one in the bar is friendly, The drinks and food we had there was on point, great pizza and burgers. Hot wings, French dips.sandwiches. Alot of bang for your buck.
