Jason helped me get setup with a new trail bike (Giant Trance 27.5) and that guy is incredible. He was the exact opposite of the stereotype of snooty bike shop employees. He was down to earth, willing to take as much time with me as needed, and super friendly. I bought a bike online and started second guessing the model when I came in to pick it up. He spent probably 3 hours with me letting me jump on a multitude of bikes, showing me different geometries online, and talking about local trails. If you're going to buy a new bike this is the place to go!

Straight up - Gem of a bike shop! I recently purchased 2 specialized StumpJumpers... Unfortunately I discovered Hutch's too late to buy both bikes at this shop. I'm actually kicking myself over that because I had such a great experience with these guys on #2. They had what I was looking for, set it aside and Jay had it dialed in to my specs when I showed to pick it up. Russ went over a lot of the little maintenance details and chit chatted about local trails and clubs.. He set me up with things to get me going on the trail... things I probably otherwise would have found out I needed after the fact and would have had to make another trip out to a shop. Russ invited me to reach out with any questions about really anything mountain biking, etc... Appreciate that! These are things that you might expect from a well settled, mature bike shop. When I left I felt really good about supporting this business. Not many places I've been to that I can say that. I'm an hour a way from Hutch's, between Eugene and Portland and have a few bike shop options, but I will be using this shop for future purchases. It's one of those shops you just want to support so they stay around. It's a gem, no doubt. Thanks guys!!
