Very small park nestled in between 8 figure homes. We went here NOT to people watch but to yacht watch lol. There was many beautiful yachts being towed to sea

This small, well-maintained and incredibly serene park is a hidden treasure right behind bustling Las Olas Boulevard. If you love cool ocean breezes, plenty of shade, peace and quiet, beautiful tropical flora, and a place to read, picnic, rest, or view every manner of sea vessel navigating the deep blue sea, then this is your place! You will find a few spaces in front where you can park for free for three hours. At the entrance is a little box for book exchanges, and the lovely brick paths lead you to benches strategically placed around the park for water viewing. Someone brought a hammock the other day and was sleeping in the shade. Nurses were enjoying a quiet lunch together, while another family gathered for a picnic with their young children. I simply love it here. Kudos to the City of Fort Lauderdale workers who were there tidying up, always with smiles and pleasant greetings for everyone. Bring your camera as the sights along the water are stunning!

We love this park. It's usually quiet and peaceful. There are several seats available if you don't bring your own. Bring a picnic and enjoy a lovely afternoon watching the boats pass on the New River. If you like to watch birds then this is a great place to see parrots in the wild. Relax and listen to the local conure flocks play overhead. Watch as they enter and leave their nesting caverns in the oak trees above. There are even a couple businesses that provide complete picnic experiences for reasonable fees. This is a very nice place to hangout for hours.

No way. The water is down below a sea wall, dog could not get out. You see manatees there. There's a place on Hollywood beach that dogs can go
I say bring it it's a park. If they say anything ask for a copy of the park rules then make sure it is a law that you will be breaking by Bbq there. You pay for this park with tax dollars so yes cook away
Fla. Dept of Health publishes fish consumption advisories for Florida waters. Available online. Looks like you can eat in moderation.
