Cool place with plenty of places nearby. I was at a convention which surprised me with no hard alcohol, just beer. Prices on food and drinks was very reasonable. Staff was super nice on directing me to the proper floor and room

Came here for Mary Bridge Festival of trees and it was beautiful! Really big convention center. They have parking on site but there are also free street parking up the hill and not very far of a walk.

Parking lot a accessed from commerce street and 15 street
There is public parking between the Center and the Marriott on Commerce Street. Cost was $12 all day. Pay when you arrive.
There are parking fees in the garage. Not sure about event fees. My event was company sponsored so we just had to pay for parking.

However, I've visited this facility. For the most part all the parking is paid parking. You can find street parking. However, you have to park way up on the hill. The pay parking is limited. If you're going to drive arrive early. An alternative is to plan ahead and ride in on the Tacoma trolley. Thanks so much for your question!

The construction has blocked a lot of the parking in front. Go uphill and around the back to Market street,
They have a food stand on the top floor in the back of the hall, typical convention center food. Sysco house brand and high prices. Will do you in a pinch, but there's plenty of good stuff within reasonable walking distance of the convention center.
There is the Dutch Violinist Andre Rieu concert at the Tacoma Dome Oct 18th. At the Convention Oct 26th-29th is the Media Bead Fest.
