This venue is probably the fanciest I've been to in Portland to watch a live performance. It's really nice. Multiple floors and full service bars downstairs and upstairs. You can also purchase food and snacks but you can't bring it in the seating area. So you'll have to eat it before you watch the show. The venue looks like an old fashion theatre. All assigned seating. Great sound and a great place to enjoy live music. The capacity for this venue is probably mid size. It's downtown so go early to get parking. There is a little lot in front for $8 on the weekends. Hotel parking is close by as well.

Beautiful venue and no bad seats. The old architecture is also really charming. I saw The Bauhaus there and had a great time.

Great concert hall; beautiful historic interior. None of the seats are bad and you have an excellent view from just about anywhere. I prefer both the view and the acoustics are better in the balcony and dress circle. The seats could use a makeover, and yes the seating is tight due to aisle spacing, but this theater was built in 1928 and people were shorter back then.

I love this concert hall. The acoustics are very good so the concerts sounds are really dynamic. The seating is well arranged so that even in the back you can see the stage well. Located not too far from Pioneer Square and public transit. Parking garage is directly across the street.

Hi there, we do have assisted listening devices available to borrow... Just stop by the coat check / cloak room on the first floor before the show.
Yes I have several times
Typically, doors to the lobby open an hour before each event, with the doors to the seating area 30 minutes prior to shows. But that can change without notice and per event - the latest details for your event are always at www.Portland5.com
It's Portland so you'll see everything from high fashion to 50s mod to Columbia sportswear to exotics, fine jewelry to tats ... life offers so few times to dress up, whatever your style .. dress YOUR red carpet best and ENJOY THE SHOW!
We can't guarantee the validity of tickets sold on secondary market sites like vivid. Occasionally these are fake / speculative tickets, and patrons are turned away at the door. Best to purchase from the only official sources, linked to at www.portland5.com.
In my personal experience going directly to the box office is the most beneficial. I've had mixed results trying to call & it's been less likely to reach someone than to speak to them on the day of the show. Not exactly time efficient but most likely to get the answer you're looking for
The current Steinway grand was delivered in early 2020 not long before the shutdown.
Best to contact the promoter or ticketing agent for clarifying event details.
Nice seating. I have a bad knee and was comfortable. It is always a concern for me but the theater was fine.

Full details at: https://www.portland5.com/tickets - If you purchased via Portland'5 and TicketsWest, you should have an email receipt. The box office (next door at 1111 SW Broadway) is open 10am-5pm Mon-Sat if you need a reprint. Otherwise, bring ID (and purchase confirmation if you have it) to the Schnitzer box office, which opens 2 hours prior to showtime for a reprint. If you purchased from an organization not on our ticketing system (Oregon Symphony, for example) you would need to contact that organization for replacements.
