They’re all nice people but clearly only have experience with people who are white with straight/wavy hair. They don’t know how to use diffusers which was surprising. I paid for a blow out and when I asked for a diffuser to dry it they said they wouldn’t be able to fully dry it (they were using it wrong so of course it would take longer). They also don’t know how to blow dry bangs on people with curly hair (mine isn’t super kinky either) and they asked me to do it for them. They cut my bangs too short both times I went because I don’t think they know that with certain hair textures you can only texturize/thin it so much before it looks bad. They gave me a pretty good hair cut the first time overall minus the short bangs but the second time they gave me short bangs again AND couldn’t use a diffuser so I paid for a blow out and walked out with damp hair. And yes I did call them out for botching my bangs.

Update Sept 2019: I've gone for cut, color, and dermplaning and have been incredibly happy with all my experiences. Glam Kitty has an incredible staff that clearly love what they do. Great cuts and color for very reasonable prices. The salon is a fun purple space that allows you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The hair stylists do a great job with fantasy colors and take the time to listen to customer requests so we walk out completely satisfied. Plus, I've never felt pressured to buy extra things like some salons do. Jaye, the owner is often around and offers additional services. Very passionate about supporting local artists, which I absolutely love. Great salon with a great experience and prices. Love it all. ABSOLUTELY recommended!! .... Previous review: Fun space, talented stylists, and good prices. Bonnie's fantasy color was spot on!

Omg! Haley is absolutely amazing! She colored and cut my daughter's very long, thick hair. Haley is talented, creative, artistic and authentically unique beyond words! Very pleasant, good energy, classy, fun, hospitable, Rock n Roll atmosphere. I highly recommend Haley and the rest of the staff at Glam Kitty Hair Studio! They are extremely friendly, along with being very knowledgeable within their industry. I can't say enough about them. I wish I could give them a million stars. Trust me, give them a chance and you'll be completely satisfied.
