Incredible! The new Cottontail trail is amazing! It's a little confusing when you're trying to navigate, but the signage is good. It would have helped to have a guide for my first time riding there.

The trails are well marked. As this was only our 3rd time hiking we chose to take the green trail or easiest one. We saw a doe and her fawn, a couple snakes, a couple frogs, and lots of different fungi.

The parking area is small but at 10am on a Monday it wasn't a problem. Scenic area for hikers and mountain bikers. The sound of the creek was relaxing.

Lots of fun. I only had time to ride 1 trail. It was a good challenge and I look forward to bringing the family back to the White Oak Mountain Trail System. I rode “Big Red” it was like a 4.5 mile loop. Some of the steep short climbs got this fat old mans heart rate up a bit. There was single track. Switchbacks. Climbs and descents. Jumps and berms. It was loads of fun. Hopefully I’ll be able to head back to Collegedale soon and check out some more of this wonderful trail system. The bathroom/bike wash/ repair center was also a cool thing to have. Thanks to the folks that have made these trails and their amenities possible. See you next ride.

Is this park part of the biology trails? Are the hiking trails easy for begginers? I saw a picture of a climbing wall (I think) is that for hikers?

Yes these are 'the biology trails'. They're multi-use and bidirectional, except for the new downhill trail over by the Tower trails. The climbing wall next to the trailhead isn't open to the public as far as I know, but owned by the university, for their outdoor classes etc.
