My wife, daughter, and I spent a week vacationing in Maine. While we were hanging out (beachcombing, eating yummy seafood, sipping coffee, and checking local antique shops), we decided to take a pottery class at Belfast Clay Studio. This was the HIGHLIGHT of our trips. We signed up for an evening class with wine and cheese and we were not disappointed. Adam, our host, had picked a nice wine and cheese for us to enjoy, and then took us under his wing to teach us how to throw pottery. Adam is knowledgeable, soft-spoken, patient, and a phenomenal teacher. All three of us successfully made several pieces of pottery, and Adam walked the fine line between being attentive and allowing us to explore pottery art. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! We can’t wait to see our pottery.
