All thanks to everyone who contributed to this work, from the general manager to the hall manager to the workers. Thank you very much for this progress and for this excellent service. Thank you very much.

All my food was healthy clean with all categories hit. I got a lot of good food. Im concerned its only once a month as some people might be in need before a month has elasped. They help and are def worth scheduling an appointment with to get your food assistance!!

The Volunteers made me comfortable with a process that was uncomfortable. I felt like I was in a shopping center, Customer Care included. The unconditional love made this a wonderful experience. God Bless all who Contribute in our Country. Thank You

The Augusta food bank provides a much needed service. The staff is polite and kind. I was treated with respect and got the food that I needed to carry me through a few days.

Hi Joni - It's hard to say. The boxes of food and milk for our first one in August (1,200 of each) and our most recent one in October (2,300 of each) were provided through the U.S.D.A. Farmers to Families Food Box Program. With funding from Kennebec Savings Bank, the Elmina Sewall FDN and the Agnes Lindsay Trust, we were also able to secure and distribute 1,200 turkeys. If the U.S.D.A. continues the program next year, we'd love to host another one in the Spring. In the meantime, we open our doors every Thursday from 9-11 a.m. for our Surplus Food Day - produce, bakery, meats, dairy, canned goods, etc. No appointment necessary. This Thursday (Thanksgiving) we will be closed.

is it open Friday
