I'm under the understanding that Claggett Creek Middle School in Keizer will be throwing away a thousand books maybe less maybe more.. I feel this is egregious I would suggest either giving them away for free or selling them to the students at a dollar each anything would be better than throwing them in a dumpster

The school district worked so hard at giving the seniors a graduation ceremony in 2020 that was safe and memorable! The people who pulled it off did an amazing job! I'm so happy my son and all the seniors of 2020 were able to experience a graduation they deserve! Thank you Salem Keizer for working so hard!

So far, this district has been unresponsive to complaints of a teacher that is verbally abusive and manipulative to children. They have admitted that there are issues with the teacher ,but are unwilling to Make changes based on what is best for the children. No child should ever go home in tears because of how a teacher has treated them and single them out

If I could give this district 0 stars I would. The new boundary changes have turned people's lives upside down. The district doesnt seem to realize that people have daycare to do before and after school care and being moved to a new school can cause issues with that. Or that siblings should stay together. They also sit idly and watch certain schools fail, those schools happen to be in low income neighborhoods. Funny how that works. If you want a good education for your kids you better have the money to live in a good area because those are the only schools meeting proficiency standards. The district needs a total overhaul. Vote these people out.

Student safety comes first. All office employees are able to use discretion as to whether it is safe for them to travel. If they need to call in, they can. Furthermore, many classified office staffers work for an hourly wage and would have their paychecks impacted by losing a day of work.
Your first question could quickly be answered by calling the district office and asking them, but worse, your second question seems like some sort of "post a question to get credit for asking a question." And "what would you call excessive use" is a discussion question, having nothing to do with any school in the country. If these boards are read by anybody to see that they're valid questions, I'd recommend that they drop you.
Lee's Headstart boundary encompasses Battle Creek, Pringle, and Lee elementary schools boundaries
U have bad spelling but they shouldn't do that unless you have them a fake address.
