Great little park. Trees are beautiful and the birds were happy. It was pretty clean, so seems well maintained. There are several nearby trash bins to use after your picnic. There is some play equipment there for the littles use too.

My husband and I have been coming here for around 7 years. In the last couple of years the pond has really been neglected. Earlier in 2019 it was almost completely drained and we could nearly walk to the very center of the pond. Now it is full of water again but an algae bloom is coming in through the drain. Which is toxic and will kill the wildlife. That's assuming that there is much left after the near draining of the pond. Other than that we enjoy walking and seeing the rabbits and birds.

Any person 17 years or older, or born after January 1, 1931 is required to have a license to fish all waters in Texas. There are some exceptions, but you would have to go to the Texas Parks and wildlife department website to see those. So most likely the answer is yes.
I'm not sure but I don't think so.
