I have been a member of PBT for years, maybe 10 years now and I only use spray tan booths. I am very upset to know they got rid of Versa Pro booths and transitioned to cheapy booths they made under their own brand. I tried one out last time I went when I discovered they got rid of the booth (they used to have two Versa Pros!) it was horrible and barely showed up on my skin even though I got the dark color and bronzer added. Total rip off for what I pay a month. You could do a double pass on Versa Pro which is what made it so dark none of the other booths work this way, complete disappointment and terrible business decision by PBT. I will be canceling my membership because I can do a better sunless tan at home.

I don't usually take the time to review businesses online, but in this case, I felt like it was necessary. Palm Beach Tan has to be one of the most scammy businesses I've ever visited. They get you in with "unlimited tanning for 1 month for $14.99," via an onine coupon, but once you get in there, you realize they're going to charge you at least $65 for your first month ("$50 member activation fee"). Of course, I know you can't run a business selling a month of tans at $14.99, but they could be more up front about it in the fine print on their ads. Although I feel like it's deceptive advertising, I went ahead and signed up anyway for their package that was $59.99 a month (not including the one time $50 activation fee). Then of course, when I get my first bill, they have me signed up for one of their highest cost packages at $94.45 a month, which they have now billed my credit card for 3 separate times. This is despite the fact that I have brought it to the staff's attention 3 separate times - since I noticed it the first month - and I'm always told "a manger will call me back to straighten it out" which of course never happens. I didn't stutter when I signed up for the package, and I was very clear what I wanted. Unfortunately, they have high school and college age kids working up there who work on commission and they're obviously intentionally throwing on the extra monthly charge so they get their commission... hoping management doesn't catch on I presume. I know this is not a unique experience by me either. On 2 other occasions, when I was checking in, I overheard two other current customers say the same thing about being over charged and the manager never calling them. Don't use this business. Take your business somewhere else in town!

poor customer service and no professionalism, i am still owed a follow up call by savannah matthews….been weeks. they dont care about their customers…..really weak culture

This unfortunately was a poor poor experience for myself. I had an emergency surgery and contacted the location and spoke with the manager and was told my account would be placed on "Hold". I was recovering and never told I had to come into the location to hold or cancel my account. After 3 months realized I had been charged for the last 3 months and contacted the store manager. She said she would get in contact with my boss and get back to me.. In Jan and never did. I called and left messages for her with no response. Now covid happened.. Now I am told they will not refund my money due to being over 90 days. Poor business practices and poor customer service. They have no problem taking your money from your account but a refund is apparently out of the question. I have reached out to there main offices and apparently it's not only the store with poor customer service but the company. Beware. Don't sign up for services with this company!
