GREAT day today. No crowds on the last day of Feb school break!! Snow was in great shape and grooming was top notch. Well worth the $55 list ticket. I look forward to seeing you next weekend!

A friendly place. The trails were well groomed and there was a variety of terrain. The lodge was very nice with a good variety of food and beverages. The lift tickets were the lowest I've seen, especially for the quality of the trails which have a bit of something for everyone. Black mountain is well suited for families looking for an affordable ski experience in Maine.

My partner and I had a great time at Black Mountain! We took the skin track up to the summit and had a blast on the way down too. Hopefully when we come back we can tackle the Grand Traverse!

We had a great time tubing here one Saturday in February. 3 adults and 4 kids, including 3 kids who were just barely 5 years old and were shocked by how much the kids loved it! We really thought the young would be too scared to go on their own but they never even hesitated. Only problem is they are constantly asking us to go back!

Hi Linda, Snowshoeing is free and you can snowshoe on the sides of our Nordic trails. It is really a beautiful area of the mountain. There’s also apx 3 miles of designated snowshoeing. You can read more about snowshoeing here: http://www.skiblackmountain.org/index.php/the-mountain-2020-21/do-it/snowshoe
Yes, that have decent hot food options for a ski area. Fries, chicken nuggets, burgers and pizza. They also have a nice bar upstairs with craft beer and mixed drinks
Generally the lifts run from 9am to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. 9 to 4pm on Sundays. Closed other days with some exceptions

All depends on when the snow flies. Beginning of December probably.
