I initially left them a positive Google Review because they asked me too. But, after the move out process, I feel I should spread a little awareness to what my experience was. So, I emailed Wanda my 60-day notice move out on March 30th and had May 30th as the day I was going to turn in the keys, and that's exactly what happened. It was definitely understood that May 30th was my last day and that's when I would turn my keys in. For the month of May, I did not pay a pro-rated rent because I paid online and they had not updated what I owed them. I thought it was no big issue and they would just simply refund me my money at the end of the move out process. So, they mail me my final statement and apparently they updated the notice given date to April 1st along with the move out date being June 1st, two days after the date in which I actually gave notice and moved out. I also made Wanda aware that I did not pay the pro-rated rent for May and she was aware that May 30th was my last day there. In short, I did not get any of my money back for initially overpaying for my last month in May. Obviously, I could have prevented this by asking them to update their system to reflect the pro-rated rent, but I did necessarily think it would be that bad. Unless I am severely missing something here, they literally changed my notice given and move out dates on my final statement so they could keep the money they owed me. Avoid renting here. It is not very clean and management is obviously not the most ethical.

Wanda was great but I'm heart broken. We were denied after all the work we did and they kept our $250 dollars. I would understand the application fees but they took all the money. That's not ok especially if they are going to deny the application. Will never apply with one of their locations again. Shame on your for taking advantage of a family looking for a place to live.

I have been living here for two months now and I love it! Tina is great and gets things handled quickly and efficiently. I absolutely love how spacious my apartment is and my big kitchen is a plus especially being a Chef! Best decision I could have made!

Water's Edge Villas is a great community for those looking for a peaceful quite community. The units are reasonably priced and larger then the new floor plans you typically see. Tina, the property manager, is wonderful and very personable. Eric, the Maintenance Director, is always taking care of everything in a timely manner. As someone who has experienced chaos among residence at many previous communities; I would recommend this location for those trying to avoid the craziness that many apartments have. I would of released, had I not gotten a new job across town in Ft. Worth.
