So many events take place at this park. Spring Fever with the Murphy Maze Days coming up. Plus a new event on May 7th celebrating crawfish. Plus there is a splash pad and playground for the kids with a pond in the background.

Murphy central park .550 N Murphy Road.
Yes, It's a public city park. Just no glass containers
Pavillion has a large, two-sided free-standing concrete grill. Grills are large, about 40 x 30 inches each. You can select which grill to use depending on the wind direction. There is a concrete surface next to grill. Pavillion can be reserved from the City for 3 hour slots for about $25. It is recommended to reserve, since people just drop in. Bring a printed copy of your receipt, in case there are people there. Make sure you take trash bags with you, because their "intelligent" trash cans are worthless, literally. There are some large trash deposits next to soccer field for you to leave your trash. Bring table clothes for the four tables inside the pavilion, they are always dirty. Bring toilet paper, because bathrooms there run out. There are two power outlets inside pavilion, for a coffee maker, etc. Pavilion is next to play area for kids and water splash fountain area. Park is very fun and nice, but the city does a crappy job with the cleaning of the pavilion. Hope this helps.
Yes. New hours are posted on a sign in the flower bed. I believe they close at 5.
It has a switch to operate it. It may be that it works only during the Summer. Call the city to inquire.
