My daughter and I dined there last night. It was a very busy Saturday night in Old Town Alexandria, so we felt fortunate they had availability for two on their charming outdoor patio, which we had admired for years walking by. We were quickly seated around 8:30 pm and attended to with water, menus, appetizer order and glass of wine. Our server told us the kitchen was closing at 9 and we should get in our dinner order. We ordered an appetizer and split the sample Greek entree platter. The food was very good, but our server didn't reappear again until bringing us the check. I had wanted a 2nd glass of wine, but she didn't stop by to check in with us. We were not offered a chance to order dessert or coffee, though we could see that diners at other tables were being offered dessert. She dropped the check off without asking if we were ready for it. I almost would've had the impression that our decision to share an appetizer and entree meant we weren't spending enough money for her to spend time on us. She missed out on a tip on an additional glass of wine and dessert. And 9 pm on a Saturday night in summer doesn't seem late enough to rush diners. Maybe she was having a bad day but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Great meal in Alexandria just out of D.C. - greek food that reminded me of home even though i am not from greece. Home cooked, not to expensive, charming place and staff

It's so beautiful on the inside. From the outside i wasn't sure i was at the right place. The server i had was so cordial and professional. She knew all the specials and went to see if they had their Mediterranean branzino sea bass platter available also, thats what i came in for. That was soooo good. They offered bread with oil that was great also. The area its hard to find parking but with the recommendations i received i had to try it out.

Best Greek food I've ever had in the US. Fresh and incredible. They have a huge range of authentic dishes and all 5 of us tried something different and all were fantastic. My only regret is that i didnt leave enough room for dessert. The sampler dinner was amazing and so filling... we loved it. The decor is great and the staff is friendly and attentive. We loved it! Looking forward to our next visit!
