I currently live here and I’m on a year lease, so I’m stuck until then. These apartments are not luxurious for them to be charging the amount of deposit and monthly rent that they are. Yes, the appliances are provided such as the fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer. You’d think OMG, so convenient. I’m better off buying my own! Freezer door doesn’t close all the way, the dishwasher had dead roaches in it. The washer and dryer are old and not cleaned thoroughly for new tenants. Closet door missing/cracked. The lining in the closets that makes the doors slide, complete DISGUST. Dust, food, hair balls & who knows what else from the previous tenants. Floor tile was lifted, nothing absolutely nothing was thoroughly cleaned or replaced as needed. My BF AND I DID IT! Saved the best for last. My apartment and per my neighbors their apartment too, are infested by roaches. Pest control comes weekly, but to do nothing pretty much. I didn’t request a tour of my unit prior to signing the lease, totally my fault! I HIGHLY encourage you to not do what I did, because you will regret it. I had maintenance in my apartment almost the first 2/3 weeks of moving in. Besides finding dead roaches literally everywhere, they were very much alive ones too. The walls/ceilings had yellow stains looked like leaking water. All the light switches are old and yellow, a pack of 10 is $20 on Amazon 😉 They couldn’t even do that. The patio sliding door is all scratched up because of the old tenants dog, the screen door gets stuck. Dog dug holes in the patio, the wood is all scratched up and chipped with bite marks everywhere. The patio storage closet door is the same. I have videos and pictures, but I won’t post those until my lease is up! I sent everything to Corporate but they didn’t even give me a call or email back. All I wanted was some kind of acknowledgment, but it’s okay! I’m paying $2635 not including utilities, I should be able to have a home that im comfortable and happy in. If you made it this far along my review, please save your well earned money on a apartment that will value you as a tenant and not take advantage of you & your family! I’ve lived in many places and this is by far the worst place I’ve ever lived in. Much love to all! God bless ❣️

Maintenance take forever to fix any work order you have, only emergency work orders they always short on personal maintanence. Office Phone service is no working or nobody is available to answer. Lights out all over the place, lights bollards been broken arround the property for months and looks very bad. Acces doors to the gym been broken more than a year so you can go to the gym only 9:00 am to 5:00pm because after office hours you not available to get in because the doors acces don't open either to the pool. Laundry is horrible not hot water they renovate but unfortunately you have to pay more for hot water or depend the load of your clothes and they put 5 washers machines and 4 dryers it doesn't make any sense is so stupid. Parking is so horrible, no parking for visitors you have to pay for parking after hours,if you try to move in they only give you one space carport for 2 bedroom apartment, they do have a pay program for extra parking space most of the time is very difficult find any space because people bit righawaywe and the office doesn't give you spaces at off or they don't email you. We do pay a lot for rent to have this place look nicer then how it looks right now. We been leaving a few years and we're are done we moving out definitely.

I lived at Horizon for 2 years (my lease was up during the stay at home order, so we decided to stay to minimize risk of infection.) I can truly say this has been by far the worst apartment that I have ever rented. Some of the pros at Horizon: location, you are close to pretty much everything. That is about the only pro, actually. Some of the cons at Horizon: homeless people constantly wandering the community, roaches are literally everywhere, sketchy characters live there, there is absolutely no parking and they will tow you right away, laundromats constantly have broken machines, mailboxes are always broken into, cars are broken into or get their rims stolen, and trying to get anything done through the office is just a complete waste of time. The leasing agents are by far some of the most lazy and incompetent people I have ever come across. I will only give Jackie credit, because she is the only one to ever get things done. Do not bother with anyone else, including the manager. I strongly advise everyone to look elsewhere, there are cheaper and better apartments out there.

I lived here for one year. Some things are good about this place the layout of the 1 bedroom is nice, the pool is nice, all of the people in the office are nice, and the main entrance is nice, but those are the only things I like about this place. Now let’s get to the bad why I give this place 2 stars. When we first moved in the refrigerator didn’t work, and it took them 3 weeks to get us a new one. There’s little to stop random homeless people from coming in, and one time my license plate was stolen. Barley any security cameras. I come out one day I saw my neighbors with police. Apparently someone had broken into their car. The laundry rooms do not have hot water, so I don’t understand why the fees are so high to do laundry. The place looks good now, but the construction lasted 8 months out my 12 month lease. The construction made parking difficult, and entering, and leaving the complex very difficult. Then the have the audacity to offer a renewal of the lease for $250 more a month. Ha ! Of course we decided to move out because for the same price they are demanding you can can get a nice luxury apartment. As opposed to these average apartments. Which is exactly what I did. It wasn’t even the price that was problem, but I don’t think this place it worth the price they ask. Overall it’s not the worst place to live (I was going to renew my lease until the prices went up significantly) until you compare their prices to what you actually get around that price range.
