I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone. The assistants were amazing and so sweet, down to the very sweet receptionist. But the veterinarian, Jan White, was insensitive and rude.

This vet clinic has a very discriminatory cat adoption process. My boyfriend adopted our cat the same day he submitted our application, and we've been returning for the care of our cat over course of a couple of years so we thought that this would be a great place for us to adopt our second cat - was I wrongly mistaken. On the day that I arrived for my scheduled appointment, they were an hour late in seeing me. I witnessed Jan White berate the receptionist as I was standing in front of the desk. As my cat was getting his check-up I expressed that I was interested in adopting one of their kittens. Allison who was the receptionist said that I would have to return at a later time to spend time with the kitten during that same day (very inconvenient) . So I made my appointment to return that evening (without complaint) to return to spend time with the kitten. Upon returning, they were late in seeing me and I patiently waited up to 45 mins. I spent time with the kitten and filled out an application accordingly. I asked if there was an application submitted on the kitten and they said that mine was the first one that they received for the kitten. I gave 3 references and I had a positive history with the clinic so I had faith that the adoption would go through without any issues. I even had a brief conversation with Jan and she/he (whatever that person identifies as) was asking me very micro-aggressive questions as to where I came from and how I found their clinic - It was like Jan was almost surprised that a black woman was even in her place of business. I asked Jan for a time frame of when I was to hear back regarding the status of the adoption and Jan told me that I was to hear back from them the next day. The next day arrived, I patiently waited for a follow up call, and I didn't hear back. I called back and Allison told me that the kitten wasn't adopted and I would hear back from them the next day. The next day arrived, and I didn't hear back. So I called back again, Allison told me the same thing. I waited for the weekend to pass and my boyfriend called for an update and Allison said that the kitten was adopted. I called to respectfully voice my frustration and Allison was unprofessional, unapologetic and kept making baseless excuses. She couldn't even explain how the adoption process worked. I requested that I was to receive a call from Jan and I never heard back. However Jan did leave a voicemail on my boyfriend's phone - just going in circles about their sloppy adoption process works without making much sense. I just find it interesting how they allowed my boyfriend who is white to adopt our cat the same day and deny me (who is black) an adoption without any explanation and to only lead me on when I did my due diligence. My point is - if you are a person of color looking to adopt, go elsewhere. Jan is unprofessional, careless and rude and this clinic's adoption process and team are useless trash.

Other staff are mediocre and straight to the point. Main Vet “Betty white” is very rude and has zero professionalism. Also it seems like they push certain procedures in order to receive a cost for the company. Will take their advice into consideration, however, I will be taking said service elsewhere.

Had an issue that caused me to drive all the way back. They forgot the whole taco bell portion of my food. They then fought me on my order and a refund ..sorta. they refunded it, but it was a much bigger hassle than it needed to be, otherwise nice people and food is so-so. Only docking a star for the experience. First time there too.
