I got my first library card here when I was a kid. I'll always have mad love and respect for the librarians there. There's an awesome selection of media for sale near the entrance, filled with a plethora of reading materials, CDs, VHS, DVDs, magazines and kids books. The first floor holds the children's section and upstairs houses adult fiction and non fiction books. The library system here is super connected so when you can't find the book your looking for, there's a chance you can have it sent over from another library in the chemeketa library system.

I just love this place. The smell of books and the old cozy building thatβs been so well maintained. I feel nostalgic every time I walk in there. A very special library.

The best and most thoughtful library we could ask for. Curbside pick-up, on-line resources, creative ways to continue engagement with kids even though they can't do in person activities. Proud of the library Newberg has.

Hi Mardi, Good point! I'll work on making a sign for the front doors that has much larger times on it. When we have permanent hours again it's a good idea for our hours to be on the book drop. I appreciate the feedback, thank you for taking the time to contact us. Regards, Korie Buerkle, Newberg Public Library

Though I am not sure, gaming as pertains the library may mean gaming on the available PC's. However, there are rooms in the library that are used for community type functions. These could be socializing games for kids or educational type games for the even younger crowd.
