We lived in colonial heights for 3 years before we moved out to another state. The apartments are clean and maintenance is fast to respond. I have been in apartments with terrible maintenance but what a relief with the maintenance in colonial heights. Teddy and Tom were very helpful maintenance staff. Also, there are tons of parking spaces for both residents and visitors. Convenient location close to all major highways and shopping centers. The only con I would say is in their flexibility with lease terms and fees however, Howard and Jessica try to do their best to convince the management for the tenants.

We love our new apartment. Beautiful hardwood floors. Nice neighbors. An awesome lake to run around. The staff is super nice .

We haven't even moved here yet but our experience thus far warrants some stars and a great review. We looked at just about every place in Parsippany trying to find somewhere that suited us. Plenty of places their pictures didn't match what we saw in person, or the people at the front offices couldn't be bothered to spend actual time with us on a tour. At some places, people were outright rude and provided really poor customer service. And you know what they say, if they treat you like that before they have your money, just imagine how they'll treat you after. We had such a starkly different and wonderful experience at Colonial Heights. The units look just like the pictures, the grounds are also just like the pictures. Overall, there was no surprises. We scheduled a tour and were greeted by Tom, who seems to head up the maintenance and basically all things concerning the upkeep, function, and appearance of the complex. He seems to take a lot of pride in knowing the complex has what it needs and that tenants are happy. We visited in March before COVID-19 really became a big thing, and were taken around the complex by Tom. He took significant time with us to show as all three models we were interested in, explaining details, options, upgrades, and answering all of our questions. He was really personable and attentive to the fact that we are new to moving out and the whole process, and we want to be smart about where we decide to land. Parsippany isn't close to anywhere we've lived before and we were definitely trying to take it all in and go about choosing our home in the smartest way possible. Tom never made us feel like he was growing impatient, and even doubled down on many things to make sure we got enough information in us before leaving. He introduced us to Jessica in the leasing office, who is equally as pleasant. She answered many questions about the process, and our application went in the following week. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we had to postpone our move and forego a unit, but we've since been back on track with finding a unit that is right for us and hopefully moving soon. Jessica has been super helpful in getting us information and answering our many ridiculous and stupidly detailed questions. Howard, the property manager, is also very nice and super responsive. All in all, it seems like the people running this place, and Landmark Properties in general, really care about their properties and the experience that people have living in them. We are so looking forward to our move.
