Came here for a day to hang out with a friend. If you stay here be warned EVERYONE will be in your business I left after only a hour due to people looking in his window and a couple times I've looked out the peephole to see someone with there ear to the door. Apparently that's normal and the apartment managers do nothing.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE the WONDERFUL KIND HELPFUL and GENEROUS staff here’!!! There are a few PLATINUM ( I’m NOT a gold person lol ) JEWELS in this area and I must say THESE ARE DEFINITELY SOME OF THE BEST!!! We have always had help extremely quickly when needed they always are always friendly happy and have smile on face! These are just Genuinely WONDERFUL PEOPLE and We are TRULY BLESSED to call this our home. I have NO WORRIES about theft or rude obnoxious neighbors it’s always clean and staff is THE BEST! Thank God for them and pray for them to stay safe n healthy EVERYDAY! I must say Omar is the BEST sweetest most helpfully here and Joann is WONDERFUL rep and very helpful . Tara is AWESOME!! She is QUEEN ! This place is SO MUCH BETTER since she became manager!!! ! God Bless her and EVERYONE here! Just LOVE them ALL! South and Madison is the BEST ! 🥰❤️🙏🏻

My daughter’s review: I found an apartment with South And Madison and was instructed put $100 down to hold it. I paid the $100 but then a representative sent me lease information for an entirely different floor plan. When I asked about it, she told me my hold was not for a specific apartment -and there was no paperwork for this hold. She then switched my unit 2 more times. My needs are specific and that first unit was what I needed with the amount of rooms, square-footage, and floor plan. A week before I was to move in, I still needed to see the unit I was to be moving into but was told I couldn’t see it because someone was still in there. She told me it would be renovated in 4 days. I called 4 days later and they told me the renovations had not began and that it actually takes 2 weeks instead of 4 days. By this time, I was frustrated with all of the apartment-switching and changing dates on me, and I realized I would have to go another route. I went to the leasing office and spoke with Joanna who told me that my hold would be refunded and that their main office in California cuts checks on the 15th of the month. She said it should take 7-15 business days after the 15th to get to my address. The check never showed up so I called the office to follow up. I haven’t been able to get through for several weeks so today I finally drove over. I talked to the property manager, Tara, who told me that Joanna doesn’t work with them anymore. She added that I won’t be receiving my $100 back because it was considered a canceled application. The hold had nothing to do with application. I’m beyond frustrated with the lack of professionalism at South and Madison Apartments. Their processes and rules vary according to which employee you are talking to and on which day you are dealing with them. They promise one thing and provide another -only to take that away too. I had a deadline and they pulled the rug out from under me. More than once. Then when I’d had enough of their inconsistencies and dishonesty, the property manager refused to make it right. I should’ve known. Their reviews are terrible on what they refuse to deal with: cockroach infestations, the type of people they allowed to live there.., there is SO MUCH WRONG with South and Madison.
