I've enjoyed this lovely garden, managed by Butler University, for 40 years. Unfortunately they eliminated the perennial beds this past fall, and sowed grass over them. This much reduces the appeal of the gardens. Other solutions should have been sought.

Small park which is part of Butler U.. Good for afternoon relaxation and/or dog walking. Perhaps due to covid, the flower beds are abandoned. Adjacent to canal. On the bank of the canal, opposing the park, is a nice path for biking, running or hiking. However, dog walking is not allowed there.

Holcomb Gardens are getting nicer and prettier as the years come along. The city just added some very nice new bike and running paths that extend all the way inside Holcomb Gardens. The canal tow path is right there also and one of my fellow running pals calls the tow path a runners nirvana.
