It was very nice. It had a playground for the kids and even a fenced in area for the doggies. Also had plenty of covered picnic tables too. Very clean at the time I was there.

Several large picnic shelters, a baseball diamond and....are those a collection of birdhouses? This was my first visit to the park, named after a famous Hoosier poet and women's rights activist. I'll know more about the place and maybe have some photos the next time I go visit, which will be soon.:-)

They have a long path in the woods that passes water. Its a nice walk. My children always enjoy the playground and rolling down the giant hill. It would be great if they would put some benches along the path to sit relax and enjoy the scenery.

Nice park for a walk or to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. The Park has many areas where you can picnic. There are several gazebos to rent for family parties or use if not rented. The kids can enjoy the playground equipment near the gazebos. Lick Creek winds through the Park and offer several area to sit and enjoy the sound of moving water. There are a couple basketball courts, a baseball field, areas to play soccer or football. There is a small dog park. The Firework display put on by The Promoters Club each year is very nice.
