I can't say enough about how amazing this place is! I've been coming here for 6 years, it is such a wonderful little getaway close to home with cute cottages, wonderfully kind staff and in a beautiful location. If you and your sweetie are looking for a getaway, I highly recommend you visit the Cliff House Lodge.

wish I could give this lodge and its staff (huge shout out to Brooks!) 6/5 stars. I stumbled upon this place via happy accident with an online search and ended up choosing them to host (and help plan) my wedding ceremony and reception. It was nothing short of the PERFECT day where every beautiful detail was beyond my wildest expectations. Brooks was accommodating, friendly, hardworking, and genuine. And the venue itself? Beautiful and full of a unique charisma I've never experienced anywhere else. Not to mention the delightful homemade breakfast every morning. I could keep raving about all the positive charm of this venue and staff, but in an attempt at brevity: I'm so thankful for the Cliff House Lodge being a part of my dream wedding. Don't shop around any more and just choose this place for your next getaway.

We enjoyed our city escape to the Cliff House. We reserved the Camelot Cottage, which was filled with furnishings reminiscent of the period. Thought the rate was fair, but honestly they could fetch even more with a few upgrades or a re-fresh of some of the exposed wood flooring/steps, carpeting or the drafty windows - but it did lend to it's charm and we were delighted with our stay. The hot tub was awesome and our space was very quiet. Everyone we encountered was nice and courteous. I had forgotten to place our breakfast request the night before - but they accodated us anyway. It had snowed several inches overnight, so getting out of their parking area was a little dicey...perhaps having a few snow shovels available would be helpful. But overall - a fun and unique place to stay with it's over 100 year history...and in close proximity to several eateries, bars and Red Rocks
