Sandy's is amazing! The bacon is thick and delish! Eggs Benedict is out of this world. We love the service and don't care that there's a wait. It's worth it.

I wanted eggs Benedict but seen it was $16? Like for eggs and toast? So I ordered the steak and eggs. Ordered it medium and over easy. Steak was well done and small and the eggs where bland. The hash browns where still a bit frozen from the bag they came in and not cooked all the way. Wife ordered a Belgian waffle that was cold also. Staff was super friendly and the service was good just the food was not worth $50 for a breakfast...

Enjoyed our breakfast there, it was a high season weekend, so the wait was long, only just a few places to sit near the door, or stand outside in the cold. Its typical diner food, with some interesting takes on the specialty waffles. Enjoyed the view from near the large window watching people come and go across the street. Once is enough for me, I will try elsewhere to see if that place maybe has that cherished 5th star

Saw some reviews about long wait but I guess it depends when you go...weekenders left so when we went Monday around 11am-ish, there was barely anyone there so we were seated right away. Food was great, large sized portions. The waitress was pleasant and welcoming. The place is a bit outdated and could use some minor upgrades but definitely keep its charm. I will definitely return on my next trip to Leavenworth 😍

Questions & Answers

Should waffles be cold when served?

That place was a waste of good money for bad food. If you're going to serve dry cold waffles to the public for breakfast, you shouldn't be calling the place Waffle house. You could have gotten better food at the Safeway up the road.

Was there Satutday Oct 5, 2018. Bill was $16.17, I tipped $4.00. The charge went through for $26.17. When i called today to ask about it I was hung up on. They answered, I said "Hi I have a question about a bill. Do you have a moment?" Dead air
