My Fiancée booked me for a Rejuvenating Facial because he wanted me to feel pampered and knows I hate massages—although there was some feet and shoulder rubbing I actually enjoyed myself a lot. Erin was great and respectful of me and was good at answering my questions and making me feel comfortable when it was quite apparent that I had no idea what to expect since its my first time getting any spa treatment done and all the products were vegan. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and way my skin felt/glowed and look forward to going to visit Erin/the Basalt team again soon.

I received a gift card to Basalt for my birthday and booked the Rejuvenate facial. It was LIFE CHANGING. Dramatic, I know, but I've never had an experience like it - both massage and facial. Hayley was so kind, informative, and impressively perceptive during the treatment - she answered all my questions but didn't chatter endlessly. I think I even fell asleep at the end. For other sensitive skin folks, I did not react to any of their products but they were moderately fragranced (essential oil). Best of all in my mind was Basalt's customer service - a holiday chocolate upon exit, a free lotion sample, and a thank-you card in the mail. I'll be going back to Hayley for sure! Hi Alice, Our concept is a little different - we are very small and intimate. It's almost like having your own private spa. We only take three clients at a time and do not have additional amenities such as a steam room, sauna, etc.
Hi Sara - absolutely! We perform prenatal massages throughout the entire pregnancy. We have a special support system that is safe and comfortable throughout all three trimesters. All of our therapists are fully trained and experienced with prenatal massage and will customize the massage for each woman's needs.
Hi Paige - thanks for your interest in Basalt! We have couples come in all the time. We are a very boutique, intimate spa - we only have three treatment rooms so it's almost like having your own private spa! You will be together the entire time - just not during the actual massage. You will each be in your own separate room for the massage. We look forward to hopefully taking care of you!
