The Beginning Hunter

I was in the process of selling a gun and needed to transfer the rifle to another FFL. I went in with low expectations, as I’ve never really had a great experience with a gun shop. I was amazed at how well they communicated, and after I left the shop called me once more to confirm that they had packaged up the gun, and again when they had left it with the shipping company. We ran into an issue once the rifle was shipped and they were so helpful and resolve the problem very quickly. I will absolutely go to them again! Thank you guys!

During these uncertain times of the pandemic they are still selling firearms fairly priced and they have ammo when you purchase a firearm! I purchased a firearm on a Monday and got to spin the wheel and won a free jar of tannerite!!! I will be back many many times! Thank you 5150 for not taking advantage of us customers during these hard times.

Called to ask about a case and wanted to know a rough estimate on the price before I drove all the way there. They did not give me a price and then told me to come in. I then was hmm okay do you know the price of your 5.56 ammo currently? The person on the other line raised there voice and said “what! Do you want me to tell you all the prices of everything in the store” I then said “hmm okay” he then said “yeah that’s what I thought” and hung up. The experience I had was very poor. I just wanted to know the price of the ammo and cases. I was in Salem at the time and did not wanna drive the distance if the prices where to high or not in stock. I received no info on any of the items I was interested in. a rough estimate would have been fine. But to yell at a customer just because you don’t want to look at the prices. Was very unfortunate. So because of this poor interaction I won’t be shopping at this establishment because I prefer not to be treated so rudely. I have been to many gun shops and called many and they all are very helpful and always try and give you an estimate on the prices and you always get treated well I just felt very unwanted and unwelcome from this encounter.
