Though it's been years since I adopted a cat from here, I still go in on occasion to donate items that are still like new or are new. During the pandemic , they have been wearing masks. They ask (written on a sign) that you do too. They are always friendly, and helpful. And the cats are well taken care of. Definitely a place to explore if you are looking to adopt a cat or kitty.

I highly recommend this place to adopt felines! The staff are extremely educated in the needs of each cat and knows them by name and behavior. They are not locked up in small cages as seen in other shelters. Not only that, but all the cats are an excellent condition. They take the time to rehabilitate any cat that requires it. When I adopted my cat, she was all set in terms of medical/vet visits, huge plus and impressed (this is of course from my experience, not sure if this is different for other cats). They care very much about the cats they take in and their well being before and after adoption. They try their best to pair their cats with the best match and will be completely honest if certain cats will not fit depending on you and the cat's circumstances. Each cat has their own personality and pleased this is taken into consideration. I'm extremely satisfied with my experience there and again, will highly recommend this location for adoption!

I visited a few days ago and, to my surprise, did not go home with a new friend just yet. The ladies know each and every one of their cats by name, and brought me in to meet some of their adoptable cats. After sitting and meeting the kitties for a little bit, and discussing my current living situation and what I was looking for, they explained that they didn't currently think any of their cats were suitable for me just yet (I currently have a single cat in my home that has lived with other cats before, but not very recently). I appreciate the fact that they're trying to correctly match their cats to new owners, rather than just pawning them off onto the first person to come through the doors. I'll definitely be returning over the next few weeks to get to know their cats a little better.

NatCat does not do Spay/Neutering. They take their kittens to the Veterinarian to have that done.
Check their website or call.
Hi Jeanne, please call the shelter during operating hours and they will try to assist you.
No, they do not have those kinds of services. Try your local town animal shelter, they should be able to help.
You would need to call them and ask the question. Very often it depends on the medical condition.
Sandra, you should call during business hours to see if they have any room for intakes and what the fees are.
Hi Bradley, The National Cat Protection Society does not offer those services. Please call your local municipal shelter and they will likely have some options for you.
She had her harness and leach on with her name and my # on it but thank you for the info
That is the correct address. You should call the shelter during business hours and talk to a staff member about surrendering your cat.
I'm sorry I was at a friends automotive shop on Birch st
They take owner relinquished cats. I would advise calling them for details.
They are in Spring Valley, CA (San Diego County) and also have a location in Newport Beach, CA (Orange county)
