Worst customer service ever. Being a person of color, I was stared down the whole entire time I was trying to shop. Workers were not helpful at all and had a very rude manner. Would not recommend to others. Worst store I have ever been too.

Staff's very helpful. Prices are fair. Rentals are often of better quality than you get at the resort. Boots were sized perfectly and among the most comfortable rental ski boots I've experienced If you're driving to your snow destination, I highly recommend picking up your skis/board here rather than renting on site.

I've gotten great snowboard boots (and other items) from Val Surf for my girlfriend and myself over the years! They explain to me what I need, and always help to find the best products for us. I also rent snowboards here frequently, and they are easy to deal with and rather inexpensive to rent from. Such great people to do business with! Val Surf on Whitsett is the best 👍

Hi there, We are all wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and limiting in-store capacity. We have Plexiglas installed at the registers, hand sanitizer is placed throughout the store, and our front doors are propped open (weather permitting) for air circulation and contactless entry/exit.
