Me and my wife seen a trailor we wanted on line at BLUE Dog rv in Troutdale oregon, we called them up and we transferred to the salesman Jeff. What outstanding service we received from him. Jeff was in contact with us throughout the hole process and help make everything run smooth. Sam and her team in service department again where outstanding, they went thru the walk thru with us and help with the hitch receiver and made sure we where safe and ready to go. We started this process on a Thursday and they new we where going on vacation that next friday,they where able to make it all happen. Thank you the team at BLUE Dog RV in Troutdale oregon.

I have to admit, we have had nothing but trouble dealing with blue dog. Corporate needs to train these people how important it is to answer the phones. No one answers the phones, or returns messages. First, the Fife, WA site was dishonest with us when we bought our RV, then Redding, CA scheduled an appointment for our warranty inspection, and when we showed up after driving 600 miles, told us that now that we were there, that we were in line now, and to come back in “a week or 2”. Then, white city did not call us back, after 3 phone messages and 2 emails. THEN, we scheduled with and went to the Portland/Troutdale shop. THEY WERE AWESOME!!!! Someone answered the phone EVERY time I called, and when we showed up, everyone was so professional and nice! We were in and out in under an hour! We love you guys! Thank you, Troutdale Blue Dog!

Go to camping world. Went to blue dog rv to upgrade our camper. Looked at a fifthwheel and the sales man told us we couldn't afford it without knowing anything about our finances. Then we wanted to look at some more trailers and the salesman told us that this isn't an rv show. Would have bought a new trailer from them that day. Camping world across the freeway is way friendly Bought one that day from them.

Buy from Bluedog, just do yourself a favor and choose any location other than Troutdale/Portland! We have never been so poorly treated by a sales dept and finance manager. What they should say on the webpage is "If you don't buy the extended warranty and gap insurance you are dead to us". We made arrangements to pick up our trailer on a Saturday morning. We were very happy with the price Bluedog offered on the unit. The PDI went great and the parts and service department I will give a 5 star rating. Once we arrived Saturday morning to do paper work everything went downhill quickly. The finance guy was clearly upset I didn't purchase the additional four grand worth of warranty and gap insurance. He said he was just looking out for me personally, even called me his "buddy". When I asked what it would offer that their "lifetime warranty" wouldn't, I got "well, you know, everything." I was also told the manufacturers warranty wouldn't be honored by any other dealerships because they can "choose" what they work on. After calls to Forest River and other dealers, this was confirmed to be false. As far as the gap insurance, did I really buy a trailer worth that little already? A quick call to my insurance company and adding total loss protection did the same thing for a fraction of the cost. I explained to Mr. Finance that we were on a budget and wanted the most trailer we could afford and didn't want to buy a cheaper model to be able to afford his additional coverages. And apparently, receive our Christmas card. Once he shuffled us out of his office as quickly as possible, I asked if we were going to be shown to our trailer as no one had acknowledged us and apparently my salesman was away at a show. Mr Finance yelled across the lobby to two guys on their phones and said, "hey, can someone take this guy to his trailer?" The next guy that came out was Mr. Sales Manager saying he would "try" to locate our trailer. "Try?" wasn't this an appointment? Other customers coaches were parked inside and ready to go. My friend and I walked the lot until we found our trailer in the back, keys and paperwork strewn all over the floor from the tow between service and sales. Mr. Sales Manager said, "well, I'll move this truck so you guys can get out the side lot". That was the "thank you" for our purchase. What was supposed to be a fun experience for my wife and I turned into an experience where we felt like a bother to the dealer for spending our money there. The next day I realized they didn't even sign us up for the Thousand Trails program they offer. I called the Redmond store as I will NEVER contact the Troutdale store again. The staff there took the time to listen to my story, apologized for the way we treated, and overnighted us the camping offer. Five stars go out to them as well. I'm still waiting for the thank you call from our Mr. Salesmen, for choosing and purchasing from Bluedog. But again, I guess we're dead to them since we don't have an extended warranty. At the end of the day, we got a good deal on a trailer we really like. The great thing is when people tell me how much they love the trailer I'll get to them this story! Bluedog of Troutdale should do themselves a huge favor and promote Mr. Finance and Mr. Sales Manager to customers.
