A coworker and I had breakfast here the other day. I tried the Harvest Skillet. It was absolutely delicious! Generous portions at a very affordable price. I am going to have to try lunch or dinner there sometime.

Sioux County Livestock Co. is part of Family Table Restaurants, a group of over a dozen family dining locations in Northwest Iowa. I have visited a few locations, but I have been to Sioux County Livestock Co. several times and it’s always good. Definitely a mom & pop feel. The staff is friendly, the service is good and the food is always great. My favorite is the ribeye steak, always a good cut of meat and perfectly prepared.

Went there expecting my usual great experience but it was two days before Christmas and the place was packed and understaffed. My go-to walleye was burnt to a crisp and they tried to make it right but we had already been there over an hour and I was over it. This popular restaurant needs an update on their booths and carpet... I will definitely go back next time in town, but picked the wrong night to go this trip. Our server was super chill and pleasant, given how busy they were.

Update - 9/17/18 - Another good stop. Late in the day when I got there. Was seated immediately and given my drink. Server gave me some tips and I ended up settling on the pretzel burger. Great visit and I highly recommend. Recommended to eat here by a local. Food was great service was really fast. Clean. I will stop back when I am in the area. Meat lovers omelet
