Stay away! They put the wrong axle in my car when I had clutch work done. It cost me an extra $500 down the road, well past the warranty of course. Stay away.

They had a transmission on the shelf ready to go... We made the 175 mile drive... He made a quick parts change to match my year... Back on the road for the quoted price... Saved me weeks of down time...

When the transmission in our truck failed, our regular mechanic shop could not locate a suitable used transmission and could only offer a transmission rebuild at an eye-popping cost. Thankfully, Scott at River City Transmissions had a better option for us. He found a transmission in excellent condition with low miles for our vehicle and the replacement work was prompt, affordable and on-budget.

I took my truck to Les Schwab for a rear brake job. The technician informed me that there was too much play in the differential and that it must be repaired before he could perform any service. So I did a lot of research and ended up at aam*o transmissions. I did not feel like they were being up front with me so I then found River City transmissions. They were courteous and explained the possible outcomes. I decided to let them repair the differential. It turned out great and is now tight and very quiet. I took it back to Les Schwab and they finished the brake job. River City does not have the appearance of an organized repair shop. Too many cars parked all over the place. But, when it came down to doing the repair, they were honest and did great work. I have already recommended them to a friend. River City is in a group of service providers that have agreed to treat customers with honesty and respect. They can also recommend other shops in the group if you need other repairs that they do not offer. Also, they saved me 50% over aam*o and offered a 12 month warranty.

My automatic trans seems to be leaking fluid. is this a serious problem causing costly repairs? 2006 chrysler touring van...136000 miles. Not a lot of money - what do you think?

It honestly all depends where the leak is coming from a easy hose external or a seal internal. Can't give a ball park price without knowing what's leaking

You should give them a call! They might know who can help you, if they can't.
