Not the experience I was hoping for, for my first time getting my hair cut since Covid started. The cut is.... I guess ok. I know there wasn't a lot they could do because of the condition of my hair, this negative comment is more my experience then the cut. A friend mentioned they use great clips because they like that they get a wash, cut and dry for a good price. So I looked at reviews and chose this location because of a commenter saying they do a good job and don't feel rushed. I did not feel rushed and that's the extent of the positivity of this appointment. Granted I went in knowing there would most likely be very little that can be done at this time due to self inflicted damage. I mentioned I know we will most likely have to chop off the dead and work with what's left. I also mentioned I even shaved part of my head before so if it has to be shorter that's fine with me, but I am trying to grow it out so anything that can be savaged is preferred. Hair grows back, it's fine. However the stylist kept saying things like "it'll be ok" and "it doesn't look that short." I felt very unheard the entire time. I repeatedly said I don't care if it's shorter. Yet she kept bringing it up which was extremely frustrating. I told her before she started I was low emotional energy and getting my hair cut was not the reason of my down in the dumps demeanor, it was personal reasons. Yet. She. Kept. Trying. To. Say. The. Shorter. Hair. Looked. Ok. I felt like that dominated the entirety of our talk. I wish after the first time she stopped talking about it. She also seemed very inexperienced, new, and uncomfortable. She was being coached on very basic things even I know. More then once I was tempted to just leave and say never mind. I don't mean to discourage her from pursuing her hair styling dreams, but I think a bit more practice might help her come off more confident and experienced to the customers. The manager on duty stayed to fix my hair which I appreciate. Overall each moment just felt worse and worse. I didn't even want to ask about the wash I was hoping for at that point, I just wanted to get out of there. If I was charged any more then the $18 I would have been extremely disappointed. Other stylists might be better, and maybe the one I had just isn't comfortable with female hair cuts. Maybe she too was having an off day like I was. Either way I think in the future I'll just pay the 4x extra to go to a higher end salon so I can leave feeling better, not worse.

Come to this Great Clips location any time you're looking for a great haircut at an affordable price. I've been going to this location exclusively for the last four years because they have the friendliest staff of any salon I've been to, and they care more about the quality of your cut than getting you out the door as fast as possible, which is important to me. Make sure you ask for Megan! She's the best stylist I've ever had!

Went in to get a trim. We talked about cutting off 1 to 2 inches to clean up the dry ends. Was a total shock to have 5+ inches cut off. My hair was angled with the shortest length at my chin and the longest at my bra strap, I couldn't see how much she cut off until it was too late and my hair was cut up to my shoulders.

Brought my son in to get his hair cut. Walked in, they took him right away (we'd been to a few other hair salons just beforehand and they were all 30-45 minute waits). The lady that cut his hair wasn't especially friendly, not rude or anything, just not friendly. The cut didn't take long, which was nice, but I fear it's because she was trying to squeeze him in in between everyone else, as the waiting area quickly filled up with people that had scheduled online. Anyway, we ended up taking him elsewhere the next day, after seeing how many longer hairs she'd missed and how choppy she'd left his hair. Certainly not going back here.

Customers can check in online during the hours the salon is open. Online Check-In will not be available during the first five minutes a salon is scheduled to be open. This gives customers who are physically in the salon when it opens a chance to be checked in and have their names added to the wait list. We accept online check-in up until 30 minutes before closing time. You can still get a haircut at closing time, you just can't check in on the app.
