Chain store, so this location is pretty much just like the other ones across the nation. I go there pretty often. They have a large amount of items to select, and usually the choices have been solid. Personally I recommend the Wow Milk series, and I specifically go for the Red Bean Wow Milk or the Oreo Wow Milk because it comes with tapioca already while the milk is free of lactose. I do not recommend the slush as it tastes like powdered fruit.

My first trying this new boba shop and I loved my drink! We ordered ahead of time using the app and our drinks were ready for pick up very quickly. Our orders were correct and we even ordered another drink while we were there. Pricing is fair. The best part? I’m obsessed with the menu variety. There are flavors I never even heard or thought of before and they were wonderful! The worst part? The shop was a tad dirty and parking was awful. We had to pay for street parking but we loved our drinks so it was worth it.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews about bad customer service and I would say it wasn’t the best but if the drinks were good it would be fine. However my drink was freshly made and tasted very watered down in less than 5 minutes. That would’ve been all good because I do order over ice. But I couldn’t even finish my drink bc I saw there was a piece of hair sealed inside the cup.

As a disclaimer, I have no qualms with Kung Fu tea. I recently moved to Chicago so this bubble tea chain is a frequent destination for my friends and me. The bubble tea is fine and the great tasting as always. However, this location SPECIFICALLY has very poor customer service. The employees working here are simply not nice and have an attitude that is not welcoming or pleasant. The cashier repeatedly doubted whether I truly wanted 30% sugar, stating that my drink won't have any flavor (despite me ALWAYS ordering that percent of sugar). Feeling pressured, I got 70%, which definitely was too sweet. I asked to exchange the drink and the employees not only did so begrudgingly, but also had the nerve to ask me to pay the price difference, which was a big whopping difference of $0. What topped this experience was the fact that the employees were definitely talking about me behind my back, assuming I didn't speak Chinese. They were wrong - I understood what they said and it was not respectful. My friends and I definitely did not feel welcomed here - please do check out their other locations or hit up cha time if you want nice service.
