I lived @ Affinity for two years. They have a big screen movie studio with pop corn maker. Also a pool that's kept too cold, and lots of social activities. Its a safe venue for elders to get out and do things with others. Trouble is most are afraid. There is a bar there and they meet once a week with a Free 2 drink event. When I lived there I took food and then others did to. The downside is this, the apartments are Tiny with a large bathroom. There is very little storage space. And this is the big thing for me, it is expensive last I heard the monthly rate is $1800 for a studio ??. The staff is nice until it comes to money. They used to have a gal who would drive you to doctors appts and doctors appt. clean your apt and she was just wonderful with everyone. However they paid her very little and she was forced to go get a better Jo. That's my 2 cents

Affinity at Lafayette is an awesome place to live. Management is extremely responsive and supportive. Tami is the best manager this place has had. She listens and responds in that both support corporate policy and the residents.

It's the community that makes this place special. Management seems to turn over often, but the residents keep up with social activities, movies, and happy hours. The campus is always clean.

One shuttle bus Wednesday mornings to local stores. Otherwise, bus stop is just outside. County has a Via ride service but must be scheduled in advance. Affinity is very nice, but it would be good if they had more transport options.
