Absolutely hard no. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Lafayette. Now it's horrible. Horrific. Terrible. Awful. $18 for 3 small pieces of chicken. My wife ordered a salad with chicken and had 4 small strips of chicken for $7.00 in addition to her $15 salad. Pricing is absurd and far above inflation and cost of goods. Greedy owners are destroying this place. Everything has gone down hill. Never eat or order from The Post again. Also for the second time in a row, our order was wrong and had to be corrected again.

Seems like over priced is the theme. Don't get me wrong if the portion size is decent I'm happy to pay. I ordered the Chicken and waffles and it was quite small for $17. Find my meal pictured below, and keep in mind that the bowls on the plate are sauces (gravy and syrup), there are no unpictured sides with this meal. As it turned out my chicken breast was significantly smaller than the person next to me who order the same meal. I commented to the waitress as much (jokingly as not to seem rude), she looked at me and walked away. Kids meals are $10 exclusive of a drink. Kids drinks were priced at $1.49, when the bill arrived I found they had charged us $3.00 each for the kids drinks. I brought it to the attention of the waitress, she asked "what can I do about it?". I must have looked dumb struck because the next thing she said was "I can't fix it, I'll have to ask the manager" (she seemed simultaneously confused and afraid of the manager). The manager fixed it and she brought back the bill without a word.

Don’t recommend anymore. Under new management and staff that were so rude to me and my friend that I will never go back. Historical: Discovered Meatloaf again, and it’s just like Mom’s! What’s up with you guys, both chicken and meatloaf JUST LIKE MOM’S!!! Delicious! So flavorful! And look at the size of that bison loaf, ate half already in this pic. Luv the Posts Nashville Hot chicken, gluten free makes it light! Luv their kale quinoa salad, and chard cooked dish. The green chili mac&cheese is yummo. Wish they still offered the chard with meat dish. Both chard versions are delish!

Gluten free fried chicken is always a win! The rotisserie was more of an “oven baked” chicken but still very tasty. Sides were a bit small for the to go order but still a nice variety of flavors. They were also very nice in calling me to let me know there was a delay in my online order so I wouldn’t waste time sitting there, even offered me a drink at the bar but I declined. We sat in a previous time and it was a very good experience as well. I anticipate we will be coming here pretty frequently over the next few months.

Questions & Answers

We are considering having the Post cater a rehearsal dinner in August. Is there a specific menu for catered events? Will you deliver to a park. How far in advance would we need to reserve? Carla

You may just want to pre order with door dash to ensure its on time. The deliveries I have used this business for have always ended up with door dash delivering it. I was never offered a special menu for my events hope it helped

Unfortunately no they do not allow even leashed dogs on the patio. Here is a list of dog friendly breweries though. I always try to give them my business instead. https://www.coloradobrewerylist.com/brewery_dogs/dogs-welcome/?brewery_sortby=city
