We loved staying here as tent campers. The camp sites feel rustic as there are pine trees and berry bushes all around where we were able to hang a hammock. There is a general store with food, coffee and camping accessories right across the way. We enjoyed our camp fires, hot showers, were able to do laundry and rented e bikes to zoom around Glacier. Great time! The owners are very kind people and helped us out when we needed to get back to the Amtrak train station. They were great people to chat with as well. We highly recommend this laid back, relaxing campground ⛺️

People have left some pretty bad reviews about sundance. However we just got done camping there for 5 nights in a group site. The campground does need a lil upkeep however I enjoyed the rugged feel. The trains do run all night and can be a bit loud but nothing a few beers can't drowned out. Bill went above and beyond for our group. Firewood was $10 for a large Bin and they have ice on site. A little kid playground and bathrooms and showers on both ends. We tent camped and loved our stay. Seen a lot of big couch RVs and pull trailers around as well. We were there June 17th 2021.

We really enjoyed spending two nights in Sundance Campground. The owner/operator was friendly, professional and helpful. Laundry, decent bathrooms and showers were the highlights. We made good use of their laundry room and dishwashing area. We were able to restock our ice and firewood right at the campground. We slept well, despite the occasional trains (we used to live in a train town, so it was actually kind of soothing!) Wifi was available but the signal wasn't great. This campground is located on a fairly busy road but honestly after 10:00 p.m. it was pretty quiet in that regard. Recommend!

We stumbled upon this amazing gem by total accident after being told the glacier campgrounds were all full. Melanie and her husband made room for us and were so friendly. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were awesome. the sites are very good size and the surrounding area is pretty cool to explore. The location is great, 5 minutes from the west entrance and less than a mile from a general store. This was the best camping experience I've had in a long time, and the people that run Sundance campground are so hardworking and friendly that I will definitely be back!

No, all sites have water and electric only. There is a dump station. There is a small cabin rental and some tent sites also.
Yes, they are open! Just got off the phone with them to confirm our reservation for this summer 2018. Stayed there last year, too. It's a great campground filled with trees, in the woods - really feels like camping. Owners are so friendly and accommodating, too!
Yes. Dogs allowed. And they have an excellent dog walk, plus a trail in the woods in the back.
