Hilton Garden Inn Bartlesville

Even for a Hilton Garden Inn, this place is bad. There's almost no parking. There's a restaurant, or at least there are tables. There's no obvious way to get the attention of someone to rake an order. There's room service, supposedly, but no menu or way of ordering. The WiFi is unusable unless you pay $5.00/day for it. 2 stars because at least the room wasn't dirty.

My experience with this hotel was mixed. The staff at the dinner area were incredibly kind and helpful. I was really impressed with them. The management and the desk staff, with the exception of two of their male staff were unhelpful and blatantly dismississive. I was one of 5 people that slipped and fell on the freshly painted stairs in the pool. There was no sign nor slip strips on the steps. When it was reported it was met with disregard despite the fact that a pregnant woman fell and I ended up in the ER from my fall. This was grossly mishandled and even after asking for a call from the manager and leaving her a personal voicemail, I have recieved no phone call. I incurred medical bills as a result of their negligence and they did not have the decency to reach out and address my concerns. I do not recommend this hotel unless you plan to not use their facilities, as they are unsafe. The food was great however and I cannot say enough about their food staff and their male desk attendants.

My husband and I booked a room here for a “staycation”. This is supposed to be the nicest hotel in Bartlesville but we are very disappointed with our experience. I do want to say, our room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower stayed hot & had great water pressure. The check in process was so easy. However, The two things we were most looking forward to were the hotel restaurant/bar and the pool, however we were not really able to enjoy either. Upon arrival, we were informed that the restaurant/bar was closed due to something being broken - that’s fine, things happen, we understand. So we hurried to our room to drop off our bags & get ready for the pool.. once we got there, we noticed there were no towels, the pool was green, and the entire area smelled like a dirty pond. We tried to use the phone in there to call the front desk - it didn’t work. we called from our cellphones 3 times before someone answered, and rudely responded that they just tested the chemicals so there was nothing wrong. i am just disappointed that the two biggest features we were looking forward to were unavailable and the staff did nothing to rectify.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel and rooms were clean. Good location to walk around town. However, we were disappointed that the water in the pool and jacuzzi appeared pea green like full of algae. Not like the pics on the site (beautiful blue). The staff said that it was well maintained and that the paint on the bottoms of the pool/Jaccuzi had worn off. We just couldn’t get past the color, so we didn’t get in the water. The workout room was 80 degrees because the thermostat was broken, so we couldn’t workout. They said that they were aware and maintenance person would fix it. In the end, they gave us a small discount off of the price of the rooms. Which was a good thing to do. We would stay again.
