Neat location, off the beaten path, inside the same building as a private apartment building. Cute place. When I called, the lady who answered seemed desperate to get someone in there but after going there, I realize that's just her curt demeanor. She smiles and everything, but her service was better suited for the couple sitting in front of me and the table of four who sat in the corner. Apparently dining for one is outlandish for her and Ian had to pick up the slack and thank goodness too because I would've walked out. He really saved the day. I asked about parking and neither Louisa or Ian really knew. They should know. If no one knows, find out. Have a solid answer. I'm a very long way from my hotel and even further from my home down South and traveling alone to get my car towed is nerve wracking. This place offers HH 4-6p M-F. They were out of a couple of items, but the only reason I found out is because I tried to order them. Apparently Louisa learned from not telling me, she shared the information with the next few tables. I had the Beets -- sooo good! You should make that an entree. I had the pea soup. It comes topped with prosciutto, so if you're a vegan, tell the server to leave it off. They deliver the soup bowl with the radiccino inside with sprouts and pour the hot pea soup over it. No warning of how they serve it. Some of us who have never been to your restaurant, the experience of the food and how you delivery it AND the conversation is everything. I couldn't even record it. Someone please clue Louisa in on her flow. She needs to slow down and eat out more to develop herself. The desserts were good. The Olive Oil cake dessert was a tad dry. Maybe cut back on the flour or dry ingredients? It was hot out of the oven though. Can't beat that. I had the tiramisu too. I know shame on me. This was excellent. The cream on top, very thick. Different than anything I've tasted. Quite delicious.

Creative cocktails and extremely friendly staff. We shared a couple appetizers and a flatbread. Both appetizers were outstanding, while the flatbread was lacking just a little bit.

I can't believe I had never been to 40 Paper before last night. The focaccia they brought out first was the best I've ever had, so I knew I was in for a good meal. The mussels were super fresh and perfectly cooked, and the spaghetti nero was a delicious mix of flavors. The ambiance in 40 Paper was cozy, the service was fantastic and they were playing my favorite tunes from Radiohead and The Pixies, yet not loudly enough that my parents noticed, or were bothered by it. While my party enjoyed apps and big entrees, it would also be a great place to grab drinks and split small plates or flatbread with friends too. It was definitely worth venturing out on a dark and cold night!

Very delicious plates, perfect place to stop and chat and have a good dinner with a friend. A great place for a bite and unique drinks. Servers were professional and accommodating. It is highly recommended to call and reserve a spot.

Very clean and safe environment, everyone wears a mask all the time. They ask that you also wear a mask unless actively eating or drinking.
Hi Rick, unfortunately we are not open in Thanksgiving. We close for most major holidays, and Sunday’s each week. Aside from that, it’s the same schedule Mon-Sat, year round!
