The food is always good at the Monarch. I haven't extensively sampled their cocktails, but the ones I've had were good, and my friends who've tried more of the cocktails are huge fans.

Decided to stop in and check out the hype while in town visiting friends. The atmosphere was pretty amazing i have to say. Right after arriving we were greeted by the manager Victor. I asked what he suggested for my first time being there and this man completely sold me on their french dip. Service was great, food was amazing, and the drinks were strong.

The appetizers that we ordered were the Everything cheese ball which came with several different options to eat it with, and the goat cheese peppers. Both were very tasty and great choices for the table. My friend ordered the Delano club and she said it was really good. I ordered the Chicken and pesto Flatbread and it was very bland and if you ask me undercooked. The flavors all blended together and I just didn't enjoy it to where I only had a couple of bites. I would give this resturant another try and order something else on the menu because again the appetizers were good and the atmosphere was really nice. Our service was very fast and the waitress was very friendly as well. They do have outdoor seating which I loved for an evening night out with friends!

I love the sandwiches here. Some far I've had the Reuben, Cuban and Douglas sandwich. All are excellent options. Great location in the Delano district and very close to the WindSurge Stadium.

The staff wore masks, the tables were separated a satisfactory distance apart. I watched the servers disinfecting the tables. There was outdoor dining as an option as well. I would say they seem to be compliant with the KDHE recmmendations.
Hello. Good question. Not sure when the kitchen closes. However, some of the dishes the Monarch serve, like hummus & pita and potato chips, etc., don't require a chef to prepare them and perhaps could be served any time, even late. Also, I remember leftover pizza pies, courtessy of Picasso* across the street, being brought to Monarch for everyone to share, after the pizzeria would close. A Bohemian atmosphere. (*no guarantees on Picasso pizza, which is not a Monarch's menu item) Bon Appétit & Cheers. Thank you!
