Nothing on shelves. Out of the 6 employees that I seen not a single one greeted me or asked if I needed help. Ask a manger about a certain product available this time of year and he could care less. This is not the Go Big service I know to expect at a Big lots in this region

Horrible experience at store #1489 in Wallingford. We bought the last four chairs of a table set that was apart of a floor display. The manager on duty, John was very unprofessional and refused to give us the discount for purchasing a floor display. The same discount we received at the Derby location, store #1783. Instead we were expected to be satisfied with the explanation of,, "we just put it together and put it on the floor". As if it didn't matter that the items are now used because they've been unpackaged and touched by who knows. After we spent over $300.00 my husband needed to take apart the chairs in order to fit it into our vehicle, John made him do so outside. The store was closing, however there was still a customer in the store, whom didn't leave until after my husband had finished taking the chairs apart. Also, the customer that was still in the store, purchased a sizeable item and John didn't even assist her with her merchandise. Instead he rudely rushed her out of the store. I will be reporting this incident to corporate, he should not have his position as a manager if he's going to abuse it, and furthermore set a bad example for his team members.

Sales staff was formerly and outgoing. They had the sofa we wanted and it was in stock so it was super easy to take it home that day. Got a coupon online which saved us $120 off the price. Offered us an extended warranty and explained the policies in full. Overalls. Positive buying experience. Got home and the sofa was ripped a little in the corner but we didn’t complain side we got a lot off the price with the coupon.
