UPDATE, Responding to Owner's response: Your machine requires a $100 bill to buy BTC, not a minimum deposit of $100. The error message on your machine says "The first bill inserted must be a $100 bill". I was going to deposit several hundred dollars worth of $20 bills but was not allowed to. So your response doesn't address what was actually experienced. Came here a couple days ago and it wasn't working and some girl had the machine pulled apart while on the phone trying to fix it (I think). Came back today and it's working but you have to use a $100 bill to buy BTC. Really?! Never encountered a BTC machine that required specific denomination.

It's nice to have a bitcoin ATM handy, but this place consistently offers buy and sell prices 10% off of the current market value. That's In addition to the 5% fee. So prepare to only get 85% of coin/cash value for your transaction.

I wanted to see what bitcoins were all about but was leery about using my bank account. Mike offers face to face exchanges, discrete, no personal information needed and you get the bitcoins right away. He was prompt, flexible and full of useful information. He also has an ATM at Pioneer Square. Very reasonable fees. I will definitely use BitcoinNW for my electronic currency needs.
