Stayed there for 3 nights. Definitely needs some TLC but has potential. Staff was nice. The pool was warm but definitely needs to be cleaned more often. It is salt water and should have a sign saying so. The sauna does not work and shouldn't be advertised. As for the rooms the beds should be queens at least. Sharing a full sized bed with my wife or son was difficult. All in all I would give this hotel a second chance but should really be updated to compete with all the big chain hotels in the area. The location to old mystic village makes it a great value.

Do yourself a favor and do not stay in this hotel. Overall the experience that I have had with this hotel has been nothing but negative. I went on a weekend trip and did not end up staying the night after hearing something scurrying around in the ceiling when I was on the second floor. After talking to the employee at the front desk (who was wonderful) it has been so difficult trying to get a refund. I was harassed by the manager due to writing a negative review and was told that I would have to take the review down to receive a discounted refund. Aside from the rude and disrespectful manager the room was absolutely filthy and smelt very moldy. Again do not stay here.

The staff are very rude and the rooms are not clean. Upon arrival we found out the pool is closed for undisclosed reasons leading to my toddler being very disappointed. The room is dark and gross, the outlets and other repairs to the walls are sketchy and hardly complete. The room doesn’t feel clean, the toilet seat is stained yellow and the tub looks dirty. The room is unusually small. I can’t express enough how rude the lady at the front desk is. Currently looking for a different hotel to stay at while we are in CT.

I chose this hotel based on a rate half of the others around for my daughter's competition weekend, so I didn't expect all that much. However, upon arrival and during our stay, I was totally disappointed as the place is pretty dumpy. I paid a little more for a deluxe room w bigger beds. The beds and bedding I will say were quite comfortable though, which was the most important. I'm happy I paid more than half the price of the others in the area and slept well. The place outside of that just has a skeevy feeling, smells in parts and run down looking.
