I’ve been wanting to try Unionville Family Restaurant since I drove by frequently. Went in during breakfast hours - got the specials Texas Crunch French Toast (Strawberry/ Banana) with two scrambled eggs and sausages. The Texas Crunch French Toast was fresh and delish! Side of scrambled eggs was fine, however the sausages was not what I expected and was bland for my taste. As for service it was decent since I came in with a good number of patrons seated. There were a few waitstaff on shift, my waitstaff did their best and got all of my orders in. Just be patient with everyone as we’re still getting back to the norm from the pandemic.

Woman taking care of receipts on a table when we walked in couldn’t be bothered with us. We asked if we need to come inside for a table said yes then hollers to a waiter to take care of us. Place smelt like bleach. Had like Three people taking our order and they couldn’t get it right. A regular steak and cheese that was supposed to come with cole slaw and a pickle was some taco meat with salsa 🤦🏼‍♀️. The corned beef Reuben was so dry it looked like jerky and the crispy chicken wrap was also dry. We asked about the cole slaw and was brought potato salad 🤦🏼‍♀️. When the cole slaw was brought out it was awful! Bland and tasteless. No one came to ask us how anything was or even noticed we weren’t eating anything we had to flag down someone to tell them it was awful. She spent the next 20 min talking to the owner I guess to figure out what she could do, since we told her we weren’t happy and not paying for it. Then before she rung up the wine we told her we’d pay for, she decided to scold all the wait staff so we could here her. Not cool. What you need to do is learn what Good customer service is, teach the staff how to wait on tables, be courteous and knowledgeable about the menu and last but not least teach the kitchen staff the menu as well. Not returning now or in the future.

The food was decent but the service was not good. I sat outside and seemed to not exist to the staff and owner unless I got up and got their attention by going up to them or trying to flag them down They lost a decent customer today.

The gyro was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The menu is extensive, and somehow they seem to cook so much variety so well.
