I went in for a massage this morning feeling pretty hopeless about my stiffness after sleeping in a horrible position recently. I have been immobile for days and unable to do basic things around the house, only adding to my suffering. I was able to schedule an appointment easily using the body aware website, my visit was prompt and Aradia used the exact amount of pressure necessary, quickly finding the source of my muscle pain and easing out the tension. The massage table, face cradle, bolster, and oils used are top of the line and I felt extremely comfortable. I highly recommend visiting Aradia if you are experiencing and pain, or if you need to ease your muscle tension in any way.

I received a number of massage and energy work sessions from Rebecca when she operated her own location. As a returning client who was already hooked on Rebecca's intuitive healing skills, I have to say that Rebecca's massage techniques have evolved even more now that she is part of Body Aware Massage. A license means that a massage therapist has met the requirements and paid the fee to legally practice massage in your city, county and/or state. To obtain a license, a massage therapist will usually have to complete a minimum number of training hours at an accredited or accepted school or training center. Further, licensing ensures that your therapist is maintaining the standards that the collective body of massage professionals has set forth to fully protect the client. Beyond, the requirements for Oregon include regular and consistent renewal of first aid/CPR certifications, continuing education units to expand skill sets and practical applications, and ethics courses for evolving awareness around holding healing space.

We have two treatment rooms, and can see two clients in one room if they are booked as a couples massage, for a total of three sessions at one time. If you have several people in a party that would like treatments on the same day, we will gladly book them back to back (schedule permitting) and work in groups of 3 while other members of the party enjoy the tea shop downstairs, stroll Alberta, or enjoy a leisurely meal at one of our Arts District’s many fabulous food spots! We also have all of the necessary equipment to show up at your home, office, or event to provide a day of wellness for your family, friends, guests or employees. If your needs are for a group, we will gladly work with you to accommodate!
We currently accept Regence/ BCBS, Providence, Atena, PacificSource, CHP (Travis Jonquil only), Auto Insurance for MVAs, and First Choice Health Network. Please see our insurance page on our website for more information or feel free to give us a call!
If you would like to a buy gift certificate you can purchase online anytime. If you would like to pick up a paper gift certificate you will need to call or email ahead of time to arrange a pick up time. We do not have reception hours for walk-ins.
We have 5 LMTs and one esthetician at Body Aware.
We offer therapeutic wellness massage, medical and clinical massage, couples massage, hot stone massage, prenatal massage, Ashiatsu barefoot deep tissue and more! Each therapist offers services based on their training and certifications.
