Even though I have been rolled out twice for not breaking rules (stayed out 2 nights,) once in June cause I tried to kill myself. And now a second time, this time my brother in law was just diagnosed with cancer (mds lukemia). I will say I am disappointed in how I was treated but that does not mean you should not seek there help. If you can get a bed there is no reason to continue this homeless path your on. Your life can be changed forever if you want it. I do want it but help is not there for me but it could be for you. I do want to thank Bob for starting alpha project and one day I hope he spreads it nationwide. God bless Bob and the alpha clients.

Alpha Project is a good organization and will help those on the street.... that is if you fit thier political parameters. I have been homeless for about 4 years. I'm not a substance abuser. I dont take public money (welfare and such) my legal issues keep me from getting employment (misdemeanor believe it or not) and since I cant prove income from a job I cant get an apartment. I talked to Alpha project this morning and when I told them my charge they said they can't help me. So much for making miracles happen.

This is the first shelter that disqualify a person from getting assistance because of a breathing machine. This is not a lie or rumor this is my personal experience with the alpha project tent. If there shelter is the same then I pitty anyone that attend the shelter. avoid it if possible.

I have utilized the services of this facility in the past and I can tell you first hand that Bob does not care about his own staff members let alone the so called homeless as he himself let several go like a bad habit, even when they had been their several years. The facility itself was at times not the most professional or safest places either. I think they need to drop the charade and have Bob go on TV and let everyone know that the only thing he cares about is money. This has been a couple of years ago so maybe he has had a change of heart but I won"t hold my breath.
