Let it be known, THE BEST GOURMET BURGER IN New Jersey! Unfortunately Google only allows 5 stars..this place should have more. The food is phenomenal and the drinks are always on point. This is a place you can order the entire menu and love every dish.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Our 1st time visiting the Grand tavern and from the outside nothing looks grand, but once you open the door and walk into a charming and lively dining room you feel now this is more like it. Our server Hillary was fast , friendly and responsive. We ordered a few appetizers and all individual meals , all were prepared by a skilled chef. This isn't basic bar food, the menu is a foodies dream. There may not be pages of options but each dish is full of so many flavors and textures that you will be more than content. My 1st time at a restaurant I'll over order than think afterwards which I would eliminate next visit, sadly for my diet everything was so good there is anything I wouldn't love to eat again.

This is a nice small restaurant with really cool vibes, great drinks menu and great staff. However, it misses the culinary mark on catering to vegetarians and vegan. There was not a single vegetarian item in Main entree. The choice as vegetarian is cheese filled pasta that was an appetizer just double portion, I would expect more from restaurant that is trying to be different. Vegetarian modern cuisine is an art to bring fresh flavors from local produce and create interesting textures with international flavors. Would love to return here if they catered to the segment that they left - vegetarian and vegan.
