Outstanding customer service and my goto store when I need athletic supplies for a decent price and need them quick for my kiddos games same or next say. I always know they will have the item I need in stock, as opposed to the big corporate sporting goods chain stores who are always out of their "sale" items. Don't forget to sign up for their email specials too. The only sporting goods store I know that lets members take an additional 10% off even on their sales items! The one on Convoy Street is my favorite Big 5 in San Diego!

One of the last and best sporting goods stores here in San Diego. It's small but full of everything you could need for sports. Everyday from rifles to kids little league and sports equipment. Definably my go to to for shoes and sports clothes. Be sure to sign up for their daily specials on email. Just a great little place. Help is eager, friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection!

Big 5 Sporting Goods can take care of your quick sporting, hiking, running, and other athletic needs. The prices are considered reasonable and more better priced than other sporting good stores. But don't be fooled, everything ain't inexpensive. The store has a lot of merchandise in a small space yet, you can find what you need when you are short on time. I bought ski pants for an adult and children. Waaaaaay cheaper than REI. Literally saved $200.00. Excellent customer service and attentiveness. Not crowded. Easy to shop and leave.
