I have been a permanent site camper for 9 years now! Brookside is a very family friendly campground. We are a close knit bunch of campers who welcome all weekend campers. There are specialty weekends, potlucks (delicious) for everyone, entertainment, two great pools, a creek to fish in, train rides, tractor rides, fresh cinnamon rolls and a wonderful new couple of owners. Hats off to Brookside as we all grow together❤️

Such a gem of a campground, kids had an amazing time. We lucked out to show up on Halloween night, kids had a blast trick or treating. Playground was new and so close to the tent area. Tent spaces were a generous size. The only complaint is that tent area water is not easy access and there is no electric, but not enough of a complaint to knock down any stars.

Super friendly and helpful owners. Well run and the campground is well maintained. We stayed in a tent site for 3 nights during the week and it was so quiet there. The tent sites are huge, and there are only 4-5 of them so there are not a lot of neighbors. The pool is nice. The only negative I have is there is not a lot to do nearby. There are no hiking trails, or interesting things to explore. Otherwise we really liked it.
