good fishing spot, that I found any how, from the shore for Stripped Bass. they were small. But reeled in 15 or 20. I am a Pittsburgh native, and have only been in Delaware for about 18mos. And I'm still seeking out good spots to fish from the shore. if any one knows of some good places to catch these types of fish, and others please let me know. And also some good baits that attract them as well. Also if any of you are looking for a new career I am also a Welding Instructor at Delaware Skills Center. And we are always looking to fill spots in our classroom. Just go online and and fill out the application and ill see you in August when classes resume again. If you need further information about the program, or great fishing spots. Email me at [email protected]. Hope to hear from you all soon.

Nice little beach, excellent bicycle trail and walking path. I wouldn't advise going swimming but I've seen people do it. Lots of broken glass and debris.

I come here when I'm in the area. I enjoy the views across the Delaware and there's a steady breeze. The sidewalk that follows the river from Battery Park continues through here. It's a decent place. The park and path are fairly well maintained but there is so much trash on the beach. It's a shame. I still like to walk on the sand but never barefoot. If you like driftwood and beach glass, you're in luck. The wetlands are nice. Loads of birds and beautiful vegetation. Sunsets and rides here are often quite lovely. Parking is free but limited. I would give this spot 5 stars if it wasn't for all the trash on the beaches. I wonder if the local schools and churches might organize a beach clean up once or twice a year... I'd certainly attend
